DAY 1: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
Your 6-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech begins with a warm welcome at Tangier airport, one of its ports or your hotel, where our hospitable local guide will meet you.
We will then take a scenic drive to the enchanting town of Chefchaouen, nestled in the picturesque Rif mountains of northern Morocco. On arrival, settle into your comfortable hotel or riad, surrounded by the iconic blue-painted streets. Take time to explore this unique town, known for its lively markets, lovely cafés and authentic Moroccan cuisine. You will spend the night in a delightful riad or hotel, immersed in the peaceful atmosphere.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your riad, followed by a scenic drive through the charming villages of the Rif and the peaceful Moroccan countryside. The journey will take us to Volubilis, a site full of history as an ancient Roman city.
Explore the ancient ruins of Volubilis, known for their beautifully preserved mosaics and imposing public buildings dating back to the 3rd century. We will then continue to Meknes, a city with a rich heritage that was the capital of Morocco in the 17th century. After a delicious lunch, we will head into the historic medina, enclosed by ancient walls and home to the famous Bab el Mansour gate, with its refined details and carvings. Our exploration also includes the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, an important religious site dedicated to Sultan Moulay Ismail. At the end of the day, we will head to Fes, where you will spend the night in a lovely riad.

DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR OF FES
Get ready to discover the timeless charm of Fes, one of the most fascinating imperial cities of Morocco, known for its deep-rooted traditions and cultural vitality.
The tour begins with a stop at the great gates of the Royal Palace. From here, head into the heart of the ancient Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its winding lanes and lively souks as your guide leads you to monuments such as the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the beautiful Nejjarine Fountain and the colourful Chouara Tanneries.
The visit continues in the historic Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah, to understand more deeply the multicultural identity and Jewish heritage of Fes. End the day with a visit to an ancient hilltop fortress, with wide views over the city.
DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – MIDDLE ATLAS – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast at your riad in Fes, you will set off on an exciting desert adventure. We will travel south towards Merzouga, with a pleasant scenic stop in Ifrane.
The route will take us to a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas, where you can watch the Barbary macaques in a peaceful setting. Enjoy a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant along the way, before continuing to the picturesque Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm grove.
In the afternoon we will arrive in the town of Merzouga, starting a traditional camel ride across the enchanting Erg Chebbi dunes. You will cross the desert landscape, stopping to admire a splendid sunset from the top of a high dune. You will then reach a luxury desert camp. On arrival, settle into your private tent to relax. Enjoy a delicious dinner before gathering around a crackling campfire under the starry sky, immersing yourself in the rhythms of Berber music performed by the camp staff, with the chance to try the drums yourself.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY
Start the day with an early wake-up to admire the enchanting sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After a satisfying breakfast, you can continue from the camp by camel or in a 4×4 vehicle towards the town of Merzouga. Your driver will then take you towards the Dades Valley.
Along the way, immerse yourself in exploring splendid places, including the lively market of Rissani (on souk days: Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday). Enjoy a pleasant walk in the picturesque Todra Gorge, where the beauty of the Todra river unfolds before your eyes.
Get ready to be amazed by the extraordinary rock formations that look like monkey fingers in the Dades Valley. Cross the scenic Dades Valley, with panoramic views of the gorges, before reaching your accommodation for the night.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH
As your 6-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech comes to an end, the last day begins with a drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” and the “gateway to the desert”. Here you can choose to visit the Atlas Studios, the largest film studio in Morocco, with its famous sets.
After visiting the studios, we will continue to Ait Ben Haddou, home to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has been used as a backdrop in many famous films such as Indiana Jones, Gladiator and the famous TV series Game of Thrones. Explore the rich history of this site, admiring its extraordinary architecture.
After a pleasant lunch break, the journey continues across the majestic High Atlas mountains, with breathtaking views. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, at the end of your unforgettable 6-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
