DAY 1: FES – IFRANE – MIDDLE ATLAS – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA
Your 2-day tour from Fes to Marrakech begins with pick-up at your riad in Fes. We will then set off for the Merzouga Sahara Desert. The first stop will be the town of Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its cooler climate. We will then cross the Middle Atlas mountains, stopping along the way in a cedar forest to watch the Barbary macaques.
Lunch will be at a restaurant along the way. We will then continue along the Ziz Valley (an oasis full of palm trees), stopping at a viewpoint to admire this oasis.
On arrival in the desert in the afternoon, the camels will be waiting to take you across the dunes to the luxury desert camp. You will also watch the sunset from the top of a high dune. Once at the camp, the staff will show you to your private tent, where you can relax and take a shower. After a delicious dinner, the team will light a campfire: sit back and enjoy the show as the Berbers play the drums and sing.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH
Today we recommend an early wake-up to watch a peaceful sunrise. After a tasty breakfast, you will leave the camp in a 4×4 vehicle towards the town of Merzouga. You will then begin the long journey to Marrakech, with a few stops along the way.
We will stop at Ait Ben Haddou to admire a panoramic view of the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. Many famous films and TV series have used this fortified village as a location: for example The Mummy, Prince of Persia and Game of Thrones. UNESCO has listed the ancient village as a World Heritage Site since 1987.
After taking some photos of this historic site, you will cross the High Atlas mountains towards Marrakech, stopping to admire the views. Your 2-day tour from Fes to Marrakech ends with drop-off at your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
